Spending a full week in Beijing was an absolute dream. Of course, standing on the Great Wall and walking through the Forbidden City were huge bucket-list moments, but having the time to just wander through the quiet, gray-brick Hutong alleys with a local beer was what made it special for me. The contrast between the hyper-modern buildings and the old temples is wild. The trip was super well-organized and never felt rushed. An amazing look into China’s heart.

Beijing felt much easier to understand with this itinerary. The Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, hutongs, and local food all showed different sides of the city. What I remember most is that we never felt lost or rushed, even in such a large and busy capital.

The route was efficient, but it never felt shallow or rushed. For a first visit to Beijing, this was exactly the right balance of history, culture, and comfort.
